1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer who bought goods at a distance from lineainteriors.gr, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods. Where items under one order are delivered separately, the period generally runs from receipt of the last item.
2. How to exercise withdrawal
Before the deadline, send an unequivocal statement to sales@lineainteriors.gr or by post to Ioannis Grigoriadis – Linea Interiors, 80 Vasileiou Smpokou Street, 71305 Heraklion, Crete, Greece. Include your order number, name, goods and contact details. You may use the model form below but are not required to do so.
Online withdrawal function: consumers who conclude contracts through the online store must also be able to use a prominently displayed online “Withdraw from contract here” function, including a confirmation step and acknowledgement on a durable medium. This requires separate technical implementation: this information page does not itself provide the function.
3. Returning the goods
Send or hand back the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of withdrawal. You meet this deadline by handing the goods to the carrier before it expires. Unless we instruct otherwise, returns are directed to our store address.
You may handle the goods only as needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be liable for a reduction in value resulting from handling beyond that necessary. Please package returned goods securely and include their accessories.
4. Exceptions — custom goods and hygiene
The right of withdrawal does not apply where a legal exception is met, especially to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as curtains sewn to your measurements or other specifically customised products. Selling fabric “by the metre” does not, by itself, always establish an exemption; the statutory personalisation conditions must actually be met.
An exception may also apply to sealed goods unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery. Merely opening the packaging of bed linen does not automatically establish this exception; the nature of the specific goods must be considered.
Withdrawal exceptions do not remove your rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.
5. Return shipping costs
For a lawful change-of-mind withdrawal, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise or the legally required advance information was not provided. For large goods that cannot normally be returned by post, the likely return cost must be disclosed or reasonably estimated before purchase.
If the goods are faulty, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming, your statutory rights apply and remedies must be provided without charge whenever the law so requires.
6. Refunds
For a valid withdrawal, we refund all payments received, including standard original delivery charges, but not any additional cost incurred by choosing a more expensive method than our least expensive standard delivery option.
Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of withdrawal. We may withhold payment until we receive the goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first. We normally use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without incurring fees.
7. Exchanges and order cancellation
To cancel before dispatch, contact us promptly on +30 2810 213247 or sales@lineainteriors.gr. The store's previously published practice recommends contacting us within two hours where possible. This relates to operational handling and does not limit the statutory 14-day withdrawal right. Exchanges for other products may be agreed with our team.
8. Faulty or incorrect products
Please contact us with the order number, a description of the issue and photos where possible. Your statutory guarantee and conformity rights are set out in our separate Warranty Policy and are not conditional on exercising withdrawal within 14 days.
